YVESDESIGN — design from the heart of Siberia. After working as an architect, Vladimir immersed more and more into the world of design and now he moves only in this direction.
Vladimir Ivanov graduated Tomsk State Architecture and Engineering University majoring in CBC (Industrial and Civil Construction). Russian designer from Kemerovo mainly used natural materials such as concrete, metal, wood. At first sight he creates a very simple and clear things. Starting from 2008, the young designer has been taking part in the Russian and international competitions. “After participating in the Perm Furniture Contest 2011, to be exact, after a conversation with one of the jurors, Vadim Kibardin, it became abundantly clear that my objects should be produced. One of my work was included then the short-list. Now I am looking for manufacturers. I believe that mass product is a very important thing. It allows the designer to develop and invest his energies to the creation of new objects, transferring control function to already established production,” Vladimir says.
