Maria Altukhova

In March 2011 Maria graduated the National design institute with honors, the “Environment Design” faculty. During the studies Maria tried herself in different areas of design.

She worked with art-objects, different interior objects, she created the conceptions of large areas which are important in the social sphere. She was occupied with graphic design and computer graphics, took a great interest in visualization. Maria took part in different contests-review, conferences, exhibitions and presentations:

Multiple winner of the Kreata contest for young designers, winner of the XII Festival of Design in the Caucasian Mineral Waters “FERODIZ` 10”, diploma of the arts festival Ural Art Week 2011, winner of the “Eurasian Award 2011 in the field of architecture and design” (gold diploma). After graduation she decided to try her hand at product design and developed the concept of the Crevice Lamp.

Today she works with interiors, tries herself in the object design, continues to take part in contests, she is occupied with visualization and teaches computer graphics in the University. “Travelling, attending exhibitions, meeting the greatest designers of these days…I let emotions through myself, but you can’t keep such things inside. It’s fraught with an explosion… Though, I suppose, consequently, there is an explosion. It is expressed in terms of my works” Maria says.
